Our Story

U Vision Group was founded by Dr. Eric S. Tam and Dr. Sohel Somani, both fellowship-trained ophthalmologists with expertise in cataract, refractive, and anterior segment surgery. Over two decades, UVG has grown to include multiple surgical centres, specialty clinics, and thousands of satisfied patients.

U Shoppe was created to extend that clinical care beyond the appointment room. Patients recovering from UltraView FREEDOM refractive surgery, managing dry eye conditions, or maintaining contact lens health need reliable, clinician-selected products. Rather than relying on general retail options, we’ve curated a collection of products our doctors actually recommend.
